After a bout of rainy cold New England “spring weather,” on the day of Lorraine & Grayson’s maternity portrait shoot the skies cleared, the sun came out and we were blessed with a warm – if a bit windy – spring day! We started the photo session at the loft and ended up making our way to Winthrop beach for some final outdoor shots. Here’s a sneak-peek from these adorable parents-to-be’s photo session:
With the Red Sox 2016 season opening up in just a couple days, I dug up this old engagement session from a few years ago at Fenway Park! Danielle’s fiance (now husband) Rob, had a connection and was able to get us into the park when it was empty in order to get some quick snaps with the Green Monster 🙂 We had a blast…Here are a few highlights from that day:

After meeting Riley’s parents over 2 years ago for their engagement shoot, and later photographing their beautiful Boston Hyatt wedding right in my own neighborhood of East Boston, I was thrilled to hear Mandy’s news that she was expecting 🙂 Seeing Mandy & Steve again and meeting the newest member of their family was a pure joy!!
Newborn sessions aren’t always the smoothest or easiest (one always has to be prepared for unanticipated bathroom breaks…which can be fun when we’re shooting diaper-free!), but they are worth the little extra bit of time and patience. Mom, Dad, and even Larry the dog all joined in for Riley’s first photo session! Check out a few highlights from her debut shoot here:

Another trip to Basse-Terre in order to hike up the island’s active volcano, La Souffriere. The smoke you see comes from the sulfur and other toxic gases emitted from the volcano. Those sections were roped off, for obvious safety reasons:
